My friend Lana shared this link from PBS with me: Which Country Shares Your Parenting Values?

My results say I should live in Australia (just like Lana). There’s also an interactive chart where you can compare any two countries. As one might expect, the value parents place in religious faith varies widely between countries. What most surprised me was that despite all the wars in and among various nations, “tolerance” is a consistently valued trait around the globe. Kind of makes me both sad and happy at the same time…

I love Australia, even though I’ve never been because:

    * There’s free health care for all
    * Every Aussie I’ve met around the world are on a gap year vacation.
    * The average inheritance in Australia is $400,000
    * They seem to know how to live life to the fullest.

Next vacation spot perhaps? I know every country has it’s ugly skeletons in the closet but it IS cool to see all the good things a society and its government provides for it’s citizens. I heard that you don’t pay for your university degree until you are able to land a job that would allow you to pay off that tuition.

I came up South Korea, then changed the order slightly and became New Zealand, but it consistently said that I was least likely to be Colombia.
